Desenzano, a wine weekend with “Vignaioli in Castello”

A weekend dedicated to quality wine on Lake Garda with “Vignaioli in Castello”, an event (previously known as Castello in Bianco) that returns to Desenzano for the third consecutive year on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 June. Over 50 wineries chosen this time exclusively among the members of the FIVI (Italian Federation of Independent Winemakers) guests of a three-day of debate, tastings and market with direct sales: companies come first from the province of Brescia but also from those of Verona and Trento to meet winelovers of all ages and enotourists, who will be able to talk directly with the winemakers, taste and buy their products in the ancient rooms of the Desenzano castle. Organization by the Vivabacco Association in collaboration with the Municipality of Desenzano del Garda. Admission to the castle is free, tasting glass cost 10 euros.

SATURDAY 16TH JUNE
At 5 pm debate with tasting “Vignaiolo perché. Stories of lands, vineyards and great wines with FIVI producers “.
At 7pm aperitif with wines from some Brescia producers, at the same time the opening of the photographic exhibition curated by Obiettivo Sensibile.
SUNDAY 17 JUNE
From 10 am to 8 pm, a market with 45 companies and over 150 wines for free tasting: access to the castle and free exhibition, tasting glass € 10.
At 10.30 tasting of Garda DOP Oil by the Consortium of Protection that will guide the tasting and explain the production area.
At 4pm guided tasting “Wine tasting between Veneto and Trentino “.
At 6 pm guided tasting “Tasting of white wines from the Brescia area “.
