Summer is over and on the Garda hills it’s vintage time: as every year, the La Guarda winery in Castrezzone di Muscoline, in the heart of Valtènesi, launches a series of initiatives to celebrate the most anticipated time of the year by winegrowers all around the world. It starts on Saturday, September 16, with a “by night” vintage for the most adventurous and romantic: a front torch is needed, start is at 8.30 pm and it all ends with a toast around the fire accompanied by salamis, grilled cheese and local products buffet (only on reservation, 28 euros per person).

Open winery for grape harvest also on Sunday 24 September and 1 October: two days in the vineyards to pick grapes, squeeze them, to conclude with a picnic on the grass with cheese, salami and jams and the classic Spiedo prepared in collaboration with the near restaurant La Pepola. The event is scheduled for 11 am: there are also workshops for children, tasting of the red reserve of the company for the adults and great final snack for everyone. In this case the cost is 32 euro (15 for the children), always mandatory booking at 339-8483582 or 338-8405647 or also by mail at info@laguarda.com.
