Farmer’s Market in Lonato every Saturday

The weekly Farmer’s  Market of Campagna Amica has started in Lonato del Garda in Piazza Martiri della Libertà on Saturday May 18th: it will become a regular event every Saturday morning from 8 am to 1 pm. The protagonists are over ten farmers from the Garda and Brescia area who will represent the local tradition through products such as cow cheeses, goat jams, honey, plants and flowers, fruit and vegetables, Brescia cold cuts. During the year the square will host various activities realized by Campagna Amica group as show cooking, tastings, workshops for children, educational and sensory activities and a moment of discussion and in-depth study of food issues. “In the Campagna Amica markets – says Elvira Lazzari, an agricultural entrepreneur from Bedizzole and president of Agrimercato Brescia – rigorous checks carried out by expert technicians, allow us to guarantee the safety, genuineness and traceability of the product for the tranquility of consumers, guaranteeing healthy and high quality foods ”.
