Garda Summer starts under the “Stelle del Gusto”

The night will be the one of June 21st, Summer Solstice: the ideal evening to welcome the Garda summer with a big party organized by the Garda Wine and Flavors Road, the association between wineries, restaurants, farms, hotels, oil mills , food artisans, cultural institutions and municipalities of the Benaco Brescia coast.

The organism chaired by Francesco Averoldi has decided to gather his associates, from chefs to restaurateurs, from winemakers to oil producers, in an event that aims to become a regular appointment to officially give way to summer in the sign of the great beauty of the Garda area, with its extraordinary natural heritage, its aromas and its flavors.

Reserved for a limited number of diners, “Stelle del Gusto” is scheduled at the Giardino Bagoda, an oasis of peace and beauty just outside Desenzano, not far from the historic center of one of the main tourist capitals of Benaco. A real private botanical garden, inside which you can admire numerous species of flowers, plants and rare essences, get lost in a magnificent olive grove, stop to admire the Bagoda lake, from which the park takes its name, visit the lemon grove for an immersion between the scents and the colors of citrus, a culture that has always been widespread on Lake Garda thanks to its typically Mediterranean climate.

Here guests can choose between two menus prepared personally by the Salò chef Carlo Bresciani, President Vicar of the Italian Chefs Federation, an attentive and sensitive interpreter of the uniqueness of this land, for a real journey through the gastronomic traditions of the territory revisited in a contemporary key.

The evening will open at 8pm with a buffet aperitif in the beautiful olive grove of the park. Following the guests will be accompanied by maître and sommelier at their tables, where the two types of menu (Ninfea and Mimosa), prepared by chef Bresciani with the help of restaurateurs associated with the Garda Wines ROad selected for the event, will be served in combination to the typical Garda wines proposed by the wineries of the Strada, from the Valtènesi Chiaretto to the Lugana passing through the reds. The food-wine matching was curated by the sommelier of Filari Dispari, a new food and wine format for the enhancement of the Brescian and Italian excellences with a sales point in Brescia in Viale Venezia.
