Cà Maiol wins the Tre Bicchieri award with Lugana Molin 2016

Confirmation for Cà Maiol on the podium of the 2018 Gambero Rosso wine guide: Desenzano’s winery has again gained the recognition of the Three Glasses with the Lugana Molin 2016, a label now subscribed to this award, also won with the vintages 2014 and 2015. Great satisfaction for Fabio Contato’s business, the majority of which (80%) was acquired this year by the Santa Margherita Group, one of the most important Italian wine brands. Contato has maintained a leading role as chairman of the new Board. Cà Maiol is a reality of 140 hectares (some of which have already been converted into organic) with a production of 1.6 million bottles: Lugana is the main reference followed by Chiaretto and Groppello based red wines of the Doc Valtènesi.
