It’s going to be a medieval flavoured weekend in Lonato, the one scheduled for March 12 and 13 with “Cittadella in Festa” two days in the name of a dive in the distant past with music, re-enactments of ancient crafts and much more. The event will involve both the Lonato Citadel and the Rocca that dominates it: costumed characters will animate the streets reviving ancient atmospheres. There will be more than 20 stands with artisans, a route marked by flags and banners that climbs up from the town center to the Rocca, and ancient crafts such as carding wool, the shoemaker, the scribe, the dyer, the apothecary, and there will also be the opportunity to buy their handicrafts: and in the local village people will be able to indulge in happy hours surrounded by jugglers, jesters, prophets and much more.
