Fritto, piada and rock ‘n roll on the Garda shore: the main ingredients of the special night scheduled on Saturday 16 at 9.30 pm at the Dalla Cugina pub in Manerba, a small “street food” outpost directly in front of the lake recently opened in the Porto Torchio area. At the height of a successful season, the venue decided to greet the fortunate summer 2017 with a concert by Charlie Cinelli, an artist who has become a real symbol of the Brescia music scene with a 30 years career, many important collaborations, 7 albums to his own name and ten made with various formations including the inevitable Charlie & the Cats. For the occasion, the musician will perform in his “One Man Show” format, which allows him perhaps the full expressive freedom of spacing between rock, blues, classics and songs of his folk and dialect repertoire. Of course, at the table you will be able to try the specialties of this now famous Cousin (or Cugina), namely Nicoletta Manestrini, one of the most esteemed and appreciated Garda producers of extra-virgin olive oil in the Soiano oil mill of the same name, who has recently decided to launch this restaurant, an easy but nice place with a particular attention to raw materials and traditions of the territory: located directly on the beach, it has soon become famous for its fried (including a tasty Lake Fish & Chips), for piadine, but where you can also eat some good Garda fish-based plates, always enriched with the family olive oil and matched with some good bottles of Chiaretto and Lugana. Designed especially for a summer clientele, this year La Cugina wants to try to withstand even in the early weeks of autumn: because the lake charm never dies, even in winter. And so to drive away the Summertime blues. you just have to dig the songs of Cinelli: reservation are recommended.
