The 40th edition of the Puegnago del Garda Fair, one of the most popular events dedicated to the Lake Garda wine and olive oil  culture, kicks off on August 27. The main protagonist will be as ever the pairing Groppello-Casaliva: that is to say the most important autochthonous red grape of the Brescia coast of Lake Garda hand in hand with the main olive variety of the area. As usual the prestigious setting of Villa Galnica will host the daily tasting of wines from the wineries which will take part in the fair, and at the same site you will be able to enjoy daily tastings of  monocultivar olive oils and olives by Aipol, as well as wine and oil tasting mini-couses. Cultural events, live music, and other initiatives will crown the three days, and don’t forget to taste the classic “Garda spiedo with polenta” in the magnificent Castle setting.  The end of the fair will be signed on the night of Monday 29 by a fireworks show scheduled for 10.30 pm.
