The Consortium for the protection of the Garda Dop oil arrives in Milan in the large showcase of Olio Officina Festival, the event curated by Luigi Caricato scheduled this weekend at the Palazzo delle Stelline. There are many initiatives dedicated to the “made in Garda” extra virgin olive oil: the presentation of the Mayor Oil stands out, a new bottle created with the intention of sensitizing producers to the PDO certification of local production. An initiative that will be illustrated tomorrow, Saturday February 3, by the president of the Consortium Andrea Bertazzi with his deputy Laura Turri during the ceremony for the Olio Officina Territorio award to the mayor of Cavaion Veronese Sabrina Tramonte.

Also tomorrow at noon, in the Chagall tasting room, there will be the event Guide to Matching: Garda Dop oil and meat, showcooking with the master butcher Bruno Bassetto who will propose a slice of Venetian combined with Garda extra-virgin olive oil The Milan event is open from 9.30 to 8.30 PM, admission € 15: tastings can be booked by writing to posta@olioofficina.com.
