Every Tuesday, starting from June 23 until September 1, the town of Toscolano launches a new initiative halfway between culture and taste: a series of guided tours to the beautiful paintings of the seventeenth-century painter Andrea Celesti in the parish SS. Peter & Paul in Toscolano, preceded by an aperitif at the Kyma Beach. The Church is a true gallery of works by the Venetian Celesti, made between 1688 and the first decade of the eighteenth century, illustrating episodes of the life of Saints Peter and Paul. Andrea Celesti also frescoed the vault of the presbytery and the work has been defined as the Celesti Sistine Chapel. The event is scheduled for 6.15 pm at the Kyma Beach. The tours are in Italian and English. Info and reservations: 0365-644195 or 347-9058047.
