Cascina Belmonte, a dinner in the vineyard

A really beautiful chance to spend a charming summer night in the vineyard. And to discover the wines of one of Valtènesi’s most interesting and unique wineries. Saturday, July 8, is the time of “Fuochi nella Notte”, event organized by Cascina Belmonte, Muscoline’s organic cellar directed by Enrico Di Martino, who has been distinguishing itself for a few years for his personality as well as for the increasingly interesting quality level of his labels. In particular, the festival is organized for the premiere of the new vintage (2015) of Fuochi Nella Notte di San Giovanni (or: Fires in St John’s Nightm a red reserve Igt Benaco Bresciano), which has already been on the market with the 2006, 2008 and 2011 vintages. Not only: on the table there will be also the other two components of the “Trilogy of the Night” of the Cascina, namely the Valtènesi Chiaretto Costellazionu and the Riesling Benaco Bresciano Firmamento. All in combination with a menu prepared by the bistrot Qua la Mano of Paola Chiappella Daghetti and Giuseppe Grioni, from the Milan area, and imagined as a journey between the gastronomic biodiversity of Italy . It begins with a aperitif in the field with sweet vegetables of Domenico’s garden with lentils and aromas of the forest. Then Seasoned Vegetable Caponata with Val Taleggio Strawberries and Croutons of Monococco, and a defeat among two salami, the 3T by Patrizia Signorini and the one signed by Marco Podavini. Follows marinated salmerine fillet and seasoned cheese valley. The two main courses will be served at the table, in the vineyard: Pork fillet carpaccio with green apples and Calvados and Milk pork ork chops. The dessert will be a pleasant surprise.
