Chef Camanini, from Lake Garda to the world

The rise of Riccardo Camanini in the “gotha” of italian top restaurants world do not seem to know obstacles: the chef of Lake Garda, who along with brother Giancarlo manages the Lido 84 restaurant in Gardone Riviera (one Michelin Star), has been selected among the 37 chefs in the world who, on July 9, will take parte in the 2015 edition of “Grand Gelinaz Shuffle”, an event launched in 2005 by chef Fulvio Pierangelini and now organized by Andrea Petrini and Alexandra Swenden. From San Francisco to Melbourne, some of the most acclaimed creative culinary talents on the planet will be engaged in an unprecedented international exchange of restaurants. Each of the participating chefs will be sent in the restaurant of one of his colleagues, and will prepare a menu with local ingredients, sharing knowledge and practices. In this great collective event there will be no votes or final verdict: only an international collaboration to offer a unique dining experience that will include also Lake Garda. Only on the day of the event it will be possible to know the name and place where Riccardo Camanini was sent, as well as the name of the great chef who instead will be in the kitchen of Lido 84 on the shores of Lake Garda. The evening is already sold out.
