It’s dedicated to the memory of Gabriele D’Annunzio, the food and wine event “Flavours and scents of Garda”, scheduled for the evening of Tuesday, July 8, at the restaurant QB Duepuntozero in Salò, the “lake view version” of the already known QB Quanto Basta: the evening is devoted to the “Pleasure” … in the kitchen, with reference to the great D’Annunzio novel “Il Piacere”. The menu, prepared by the two chefs Alberto Bertani and Andrea Selleri, promises to be interesting and provides a wide use of classical productions of the territory, which are involved in a series of preparations definitely intriguing as the Crespella with with lake sardines, burrata on a puree San Marzano and capers of Gargnano. The dinner will open with Cream purple potatoes, marinated and smoked trout with pan brioche with juniper, and continue with Whitefish potatoes in pastry stuffed with asparagus and bacon with mashed zucchini and marjoram. It closes with apple sorbet and a liqueur made with the mandarins of Gargnano. Partner of the evening, coordinated by the co-owner Irene Agliardi, are Cantine Malavasi of Pozzolengo (the winery winner in 2013 of Pompeo Molmenti Trophy for the best Chiaretto) and Terre del Garda with its unique scents from Lake Garda. The participation fee is 35 €, reservations required at 0365-520421.
