The rosé of the Brescia Garda Riviera del Garda is again the protagonist in the setting of Galleria Vittorio Emanuele in Milan: after the official déblocage of February 13, which has announced the return to the market with the 2016 vintage set by the specification for Valentine’s day, Valtenesi Chiaretto will be the official wine of the  event “Più che l’amore”, three evenings devoted to the relationship between Eleonora Duse and Gabriele D’Annunzio scheduled for February 23 to 25 in the beautiful, charming retro atmosphere of the Hotel Diurno Cobianchi in Piazza Duomo 19 / a in Milan. As if to say: a perfect matcing in the name of Garda between the poet of the faboulous Vittoriale in Gardone Riviera and one of the iconic wines of the Brescia shore of the largest Italian lake.

The three day event is named after the essay published for Marsilio by Annamaria Andreoli, a famous scholar of the poet, former President of the Foundation Vittoriale, the house museum of d’Annunzio in Gardone Riviera, which inspired the play represented. It is about a ten years long history of passion and mutual betrayals, but especially of a thwarted artistic collaboration. Scripted by Annamaria Andreoli, actors Annig Raimondi and Antonio Rosti will interpret the two lovers through the scenic fiction of “living pictures.” Building on the successful Tableaux Vivants who had great success during the belle epoque, the play will take place in Cobianchi spaces recreating the Hotel Cavour in Milan, where the two characters, ad the height of success and forward and now older, met in 1922 after various years of difficult separation.

In the salon prepared with tables, as an old café chantant, people will hear the words of poems such as “The rain in the pine” and “The fiesolana evening”, some of the most famous verses of the poet. D’Annunzio was a musician, had studied and played the guitar. He wrote poems and was set to music by Debussy, Mascagni, Pizzetti. From the union with the composer Francesco Paolo Tosti were born famous romances, small masterpieces, such as “A ‘vucchella” which will mark the times of the show, performed by the tenor Matteo Cammarata, accompanied the piano by Gian Francesco Amoroso. You can not miss the ” Air Di Violetta “from La Traviata whose Duse was an applauded interpreter.

At 6.30 pm Annamaria Andreoli, former professor of Italian literature at the University of Bologna and Power, will hold a conference, which will touch not only this new reality of history between Duse and D’Annunzio, but also give an unusual insight into the dannunziana psychology in complex relationship with the Divine. On this occasion the author will sign participants his book “More than love” by Marsilio Editori types.

There will also be time to taste the new vintage (2016) of Valtenesi Chiaretto, the Garda rosé wine produced with four red grapes (including the native Groppello) in the area which coincides with the Brescia Riviera del Garda
