An alternative to the usual happy hour, but also an opportunity to better know the wineries, the wines, the producers of the Brescia shore of Lake Garda: this is the goal of Winery and Flavours 2016, the summer circuit of aperitifs in the cellar organized every year by the Strada dei Vini e dei Sapori del Garda in the associated companies. Appointments are set for each Friday from July 1 to August 26: the wineries participating to the itinerary will open their doors to visitors from 7 to 10 pm, offering tastings of their own labels (from pink Chiaretto to the Lugana white through the Groppello based reds and sparkling wines) combined with food tastings and local products. Tickets cost 15 euro.

There will be two wineries open every Friday: July 1 it’s up to La Torre in  Calvagese and Malavasi in Pozzolengo, Jluly 8 to Perla del Garda in Lonato and Franzosi in Puegnago, 15 to Zuliani Padenghe and Le Morette Peschiera, 22 Cobue Pozzolengo and Averoldi in Bedizzole, and 29 to Montecicogna in Moniga and the Roccolo of Polpenazze.

In August, it starts on Friday 5 from Selva Capuzza in San Martino della Battaglia and La Basia in Puegnago, to continue on the 12 in Ca Maiol in Desenzano and Redaelli De Zinis Calvagese, 19 in Spia d’Italia in Lonato and Le Gaine Bedizzole.
