Sunday on Garda with “Christmas in the Wineries”

There are many steps planned on Lake Garda for the event “Christmas in the Wineries”, the winter meeting set for Sunday, December 11, by the the Wine Tourism Movement throughout Italy. The goal of the day to is to open the doors of Italian wine companies again on the occasion of the anniversaries of the end of the year, for a day of wine tastings “under the tree” and also for shopping of locale bottles on the occasion of the upcoming year-end holidays.

Three wineries will be opened in the ​​Lugana area: in Castelvenzago in Lonato the obligatory stop s at Perla del Garda, the winery managed by Giovanna and Ettore Prandini who just recently concluded the celebrations for its first ten years of activity, marked for other things by a growing number of recognitions to the quality of productions.

There will also be two “stops” in Pozzolengo: the first is at Cobue, a young and dynamic reality that is distinguished for the high quality profile of the products as well as for the great attention to the development of small doc of San Martino della Battaglia, for which as you know here on Garda Expo we always do a passionate cheering. And Gilberto Castoldi is a winegrower which really knows how to express San Martino at its best. Always in Pozzolengo in Borgo La Caccia you will be able to taste a preview of the brut Kames, the new product of this winery.

In the Valtènesi area instead the stop will be in Castrezzone of Muscoline where Gigi Negri of La Guarda awaits its guests for an aperitif and offered guided tours (but it is best to book at 339-8483582), as well as the Marsadri Cellar in Raffa of Puegnago.

In Cavaion Veronese instead you can not miss a visit to wineries Gerardo Cesari, where from 10 to 6 pm you will discover the harmony of Amarone della Valpolicella Classico 2012, Amarone Il Bosco 2010 and the Riserva 2007 Bosan combined with local products such as salami and cheeses. To enrich the day also an exhibition of handicrafts by Rigattieri del Garda.
