There will also be a “slice” of Garda in the first edition of the National Day of the association “Women of Wine”, a new event to be held tomorrow, Saturday, March 4 throughout Italy with a calendar of over 70 events planned in 12 regions. Lombardy also holds a day filled with appointments in 16 among wineries, restaurants and wine bars that will offer ad hoc initiatives welcoming visitors. The central point of the regional billboard is the famous Mille Miglia Museum of St. Eufemia in Brescia, which will be open from 10 to 3pm with the reduced rate of € 3 with possibility to taste the wines of the wineries involved proposed by the member sommelier. From here you can leave for the different territories to enter in farms or stopping to eat in the restaurants participating in the event. There will also be two Garda steps: at Perla del Garda in Lonato there will be an exhibition of vintage motorcycles combined with tasting of old Lugana Vintage at 4 pm (to be booked at www.perladelgarda.it). Afterwards, at 5pm, happy wine aperitif km0 (also to book). You will be able to meet Giorgio Romano collector of motorcycles on display from 4 to 6 pm, owner of one of the most’ important private collections of vintage bikes from the early ‘900 to the’ 70s. Ricchi Stefanoni winery in Monzambano will offer instead guided tours and tastings always by appointment. Also in Valsabbia, the Croce Bianca inn of Vestone ha organized an afternoon dedicated to fashion and to the palate. From 3 to 5.30 pm looks that made heads turn, glamorous icons, a women winert, a sommelier and a hair stylist.
