Time has come for the return of the Lake Fish Festival: the 2016 edition of the event organized by the Road of Wines and Flavours of Lake Garda with Garda DOP Oil Consortium starts Friday, September 9, for a food and wine tour completely dedicated to the major varieties of fish of lake Garda. The event will be divided into 15 dinners in characteristic restaurants of the Brescia side of Benaco, starting from the trattoria Il Fiore in Desenzano: “last stop” is planned just before Christmas, on December 16, after 15 stages all in the name of a main ingredient of local cuisine. The chef of the restaurants involved in the circuit have created for the occasion a special menu that will be offered every Friday at the fixed price of 30 euro all inclusive. And the bow of the proposal is very broad, ranging from the local tradition to particularly creative solutions balanced between innovative reinterpretation of classic recipes and very personal culinary creations. One of the key actors of the recipes willa also be the extra virgin olive oil Garda Dop, and every evening will also feature a winery of the Riviera with its owner, which will match their wines (especially Lugana, Chiaretto and other local white wines) to dishes for the occasion.
