A “Golden October” on Trentino Garda shores

On the shores of Lake Garda Trentino the food and wine event “Ottobre d’Oro- The Taste of Autumn” is on the run until October 23: it involves fourteen restaurants in ad hoc created menus dedicated to traditional dishes, or creative reinterpretations of local recipes. Great protagonists of the preparations of the chefs are typical local specialties such as the famous Carne Salada and local extra virgin olive oil, but also chestnuts, pumpkins, berries, Mount Baldo black truffles, the Trentino apples and mountain cheeses. The whole will be served with wines from the Trentino area. The menus are available for lunch and dinner and prices are included in a range from 24 to 40 Euros: the list of restaurants participating with their menu is available at www.gardatrentino.it/menu site.
