Moniga del Garda is ready to reopen the big stage dedicated to all lovers of “drink pink”: from June 10 to 12 it’s time again for “Italia in Rosa” (Italy in Pink), the first Italian event entirely dedicated to the world of rosé wines, which this year crosses the finish line of the ninth edition.

It will once again be the fascinating setting of the fourteenth century castle of Moniga to host about 100 wineries from all over Italy, with foreground areas historically suited to the production of rosé as obviously Garda with Chiaretto, Salento, Abruzzo , passing through the excellence of several other national areas and a representation of French wines. The exhibition area in the castle grounds will be further extended as the guided tastings (free on request) will be increased: but the biggest new this year is undoubtedly represented by the big Dinner in Pink scheduled for Saturday evening, where all the participants, dressed in pink of course, can bring their own food (in pink that too) and dinner in a reserved area in the garden of the castle of course the wines of Italy in pink, getting a discount on the entry ticket.

There will be moments of insights as the conference “The future of rosé: numbers and size of a booming market”, on Saturday 11 at 10.30 at Villa Galnica Puegnago, home of Valtènesi Consortium: guest of honor Michel Couderc, Director the Studies and Economics Center of the Conseil interprofessionnel Vins de Provence, which will present the 2016 Observatory data Rosé with the latest global trends.
