Lake Fish, a culinary event from September

An itinerant event in some of the best restaurants of Lake Garda (and beyond) to celebrate the indissoluble marriage between lake fish and local wines and extra virgin olive oil: this is the fundamental premise of the Rassegna del Pesce di Lago 2015, a culinary event that will start on September 5 and will be drawing the attention of gourmets with a long series of dinner events scheduled until just before Christmas. The event is organized by the Strada dei Vini e dei Sapori del Garda in collaboration with the Consortium Garda Dop and with Valtènesi con Gusto. There’s a total of 17 restaurants which will take part in the Rassegna:  the inaugural dinner is scheduled for Saturday, September 5 at the Tana del Gufo restaurant in Lonato, while all the other dinners will take place on Friday evenings from 11th September to 18th December. Each resturant will offer an exclusive menu specially designed for the occasion, and will host a Garda winery who will propose the wines paired with dishes of the evening. The menu will be offered at a fixed price of 30 euro. Garda Expo will follow the event by presenting each week the restaurants, the menu programmed for each evening  and the wineries involved.
