Lugana, a “Timeless Harmony” for the 50th anniversary

Garda summer is coming to an end under the sign of Lugana: the great “Armonie senza tempo”; (or “Timeless Harmony” in english) tasting is set for September 9, a highly anticipated event that this year is part of the special celebrations for the 50 years of the Lake Garda much acclaimed Doc. 54 wineries are ready to go on stage in Peschiera in the scenery of a prestigious UNESCO site such as the Porta Verona Artillery.
The formula does not change and as always is based on a great tasting bar to discover the many facets of Lugana in all its typologies: entrance is free until seats are sold out but to participate it is necessary to proceed to an online registration at www.consorziolugana. En, to have access to the tasting programmed from 6 to 10 pm.
The celebrations for the fifty years will continue on October 6 in Sirmione with “Lugana Doc with taste”, an itinerant event that combines the cuisine of the territory with the collaboration of the Consorzio Albergatori e ristoratori di Sirmione. Already fixed for November 26 in Desenzano is also the event “The Ages of Lugana”, a tasting of old vintages, Lugana Riserva and Late Harvest reserved for journalists and operators.
