Lake Fish Festival is one of the main events of the season on Lake Garda: a gourmet itinerary in 15 dinners in the restaurants of the Garda Wines and Flavours Roas now coming in its eighth stage scheduled for the night of October 28 at Il Giglio in Gardone Riviera. This restaurant has been opened for just over one year, but it has already established itself as a trusted address for all seafood lovers. Chef Antonello Oggiano comes from a family of fishermen in the wonderful village of Castelsardo, in the province of Sassari, and he has manipulated, eaten, cooked and caught fish from an early age. Today in Gardone he proposes the recipes of sea tradition in a contemporary version. In this case the Giglio kitchen will make an exception, leaving aside the sea for one night and making room for lake fish. And here’s the menu that Antonello studied for the evening.

Terrine of smoked lake sardines with potato cream and leek sprouts.

Whitefish cruditè with ginger and lime

Spaghetti with eel

Trout fillet baked in foil

Tiramisu

Special guest of the dinner will be Cobue, a Pozzolengo winery that stands out not only for the production of Lugana, but pointing especially to keep alive the tradition of San Martino della Battaglia Doc with the excellent Monte Olivi.

As always, the menu will be offered at a fixed price of 30 euro all inclusive. Info and reservations at 0365-9108319.
