It is even double the appointement of this week with the 2017 edition of the Lake Fish Festival. After the dinner on Thursday 26 at the restaurant La Muraglia in Pozzolengo announced yesterday, on Friday 27th the Festival goes on with another step in salò at the Osteria Tirabusù, a very warm and suggestive place recently opened in the beautiful and peaceful setting of Piazza San Antonio, a few steps from the Salodian lakefront.

This traditional osteria stands firmly to enhance the cuisine of the area by putting on the front the products of the lake, but also of the surrounding hills and mountains, respecting seasons and the availability of raw materials. From here the participation in the circuit of the Slow Food Chefs Alliance, an international network that is committed to value products that are often at risk of extinction.

But here is the menu set up by Tirabusù for the evening of 27:

Lake Fish appetizer

Spaghettoni with lake sardines, tomatoes and confit lemon

Roasted Eel with red-wine braised onions

Garda lemons cake

As always the dinner is offered at the fixed price of 32 euro, and must be booked directly by calling 342-0949650.

A final nod to the guest cellar of the evening. that will be the Cobue farm of Pozzolengo, a very interesting winery that in additcion to the Lugana is characterized by a wide range in which there’s also space for en excellent San Martino della Battaglia Doc and some good sparkling wines.
