Sport, adventure and flavors in Garda Trentino

Films, meetings, competitions, shows, flavors and concerts to celebrate the greatest explorers of our time: this is the program of “Adventure Days Awards”, the adventure festival celebrating its fifth edition from today, Friday, September 30 , until October 3 on the Trentino shore of lake Garda. This is a very special event, far from ethics of extreme sports and the pursuit of sensational performance: here the leading philosophy is an authentic passion for exploration beyond the ordinary boundaries. The beating heart of the festival will be the town of Arco, but the event will also widen the area involving numerous fascinating locations, from Lake Garda to Marocche Dro to Rifugio Altissimo. It all starts today with the international selection of the best adventure movies (1200 candidates last year, from all over the world): and then it will continue with the training camp with the great champions, photography workshops and sports storytelling, concerts at dawn (like the one on Saturday 1 at Rifugio Altissimo with Fabo Cinti and Paolo Benvegnù) and sunset. Do not miss a parenthesis dedicated to food: Saturday 1 at midday meeting with chef Massimo Gisolo about outdoor kitchen, and Sunday 2 at the same time a talk about nutrition for athletes with Michele Gariglia (one of the biggest ultrarunners the world).
