Suoni e Sapori del Garda, next step in Gardone

Appointment on Saturday, June 24 at the Parish Church of S.Nicola da Bari in Gardone Riviera for the seventh concert of the Fifth Edition of the “Sounds and Flavors of the Garda” (“Suoni e Sapori del Garda 2017”), the event organized by the association Brixia Symphony in collaboration with the Garda Wines and Flavors Road, which provides prestigious concerts in some of the most beautiful locations of the lake combined with tastings of wines and typical products of the farms and wineries associated to the Garda Road. The concert on Saturday, 24, takes the title of “Schubertiade” as it takes the inspiration from schubertiadi, meetings of Franz Schubert with musicians, painters, poets and melodies who gathered in Vienna to know and listen to their friend’s works or other composers and poets of the moment. Schubert himself (who in 2017 recurs to 220 ° of death) often sang for them and interpreted his works as piano as he created them. The concert will offer an opportunity to listen to one of the most renowned oboists in the international scene, Fabien Thouand, along with him soprano Aurora Tirotta and pianist Inessa Filistovich. The concert will begin at 9.15 pm and will be preceded at 8.30 by a guided tour of the Parish and the works of art held inside by the Association of La Melagrana. The whole event is free. The artistic direction of the festival is by Giovanna Sorbi.
