It is called the Lombardy Wine Experience and is a sort of temporary maxi-wine shop completely dedicated to regional wine production, which can be visited until December 30th in Milan. A very comprehensive showcase, the one set up at the Palazzo Giureconsulti in via dei Mercanti, where all 14 Lombardy wine consortiums will be involved until the end of the month in a large tasting showcase open every day from 11 am to 8 pm. The main goal is to promote the denominations, the complexity of a panorama rich in nuances often unknown, in a journey (divided in sections) that will lead visitors from the sparkling wines of Franciacorta and Oltrepò Pavese to the reds of Valtellina passing through whites and sweet wines. Among the main protagonists are the two great Garda wines: the Valtènesi Chiaretto Doc will be on stage in the Rosé Experience space, while the Lugana will present itself in all its nuances in the Profumo di Bianco Experience area. The tastings, accompanied by professional sommeliers, will be combined with tastings of typical products of Lombardy, in particular prestigious DOP references such as Gorgonzola, Quartirolo Lombardo, Valtellina Casera and Bitto and Salame di Varzi as well as Bresaola della Valtellina Igp.
