The success of the 2016 Lake Fish Festival knows no failure: after the “sold out” last Friday at Dalie&Fagioli in Manerba, the food and wine event organized by the Garda Wines and Flavours Route moves in Pozzolengo, in the rooms of Fenil Conter restaurant, for the 12th planned step in the itinerary. The event is scheduled for Friday, November 25: bookings are open at 030-9916052. So the festival returns through the vineyards of Lugana, in the special atmosphere of this place restored from a 19th century farmhouse, a place where you can try a cuisine strictly tied to the traditions of the territory, with priority given to salami and meat coming from local companies and of course the catch of the close Garda. This is the menu prepared for the evening:
Lugana Marinated Trout salad on bed of lettuce
Macaroni with vegetables
Whitefish and grilled vegetables with Garda extra virgin olive oil
Lemon semifreddo
The guest winery of the evening will be Monte Cicogna in Moniga, a company present in Lugana as in Valtènesi which offers a fairly wide range of wines with also some excellent reds (read here the history of the winery published on Garda Expo: http://www.gardaexpo.com/en/monte-cigogna-in-memoria-di-don-lisander/). The menu is offered as always at the fixed price of 30 euro all inclusive.
