“Cantine Aperte” is celebrating its 24th edition and the Garda is taking part in the great toast to the beauty of italian wine: there are many Garda wineries which tomorrow, Sunday, May 29, will participate in the traditional happenings launched nationwide by the italian Wine Tourism Movement.

On the Brescia Riviera, stops are planned in both Valtènesi and in the area of Lugana: the wineries that will welcome “wine lovers” throughout the day with tastings and special events are La Guarda (Castrezzone of Muscoline), Avanzi (Manerba), Perla del Garda (Lonato), Selva Capuzza and Citari (San Martino della Battalia), Cobue and Borgo La Caccia (Pozzolengo) and Ca ‘Maiol (Desenzano).

On the Verona side instead of the appointment is at Benazzoli in Pastrengo, Wine House Tinazzi in Lazise, Cesari and Lamberti Preella in Cavaion Veronese, Tenuta La Ca ‘and Zeni in Bardolino, Zenato in Peschiera. On the Trento riviera you will be welcomed at Bertamini Frantoio in Arco

This year Cantine Aperte has teamed up with the AIRC (the Italian Association for Cancer Research): by buying the traditional glass with bag for tastings (10 euro, you buy it in the first winery you plan to visit), you will also help to give a hand to fund cancer research.
