The Grand Priory of Lugana has made is choice: the Lugana Doc of the year (vintage 2015) is the one produced by La Feliciana winery in Pozzolengo. The verdict has emerged during the final evening of “Vinalia 2016”, the traditional competition organized annually by the brotherhood headed by Ivan Spazzini, held this year at Garda Golf in Soiano. Also awarded were Zenato in Peschiera for Lugana sparkling “Metodo Classico” and winery Ca ‘Orsa in Affi for the Charmat. Three commissions of oenologists and sommeliers made a pre-selection on the 92 samples submitted to the competition, including 80 traditional Lugana Doc  and the rest of the other two sparkling types in competition. At the finals there were 10 labels for the first category, and 6 for the other two, subjected to the judgment of the 60 “Luganalovers” associated with the Priory. The winning wines will accompany all convivial and promotional initiatives of the association provided for this year.
