Desenzano, successo per le Stelle del Gusto

The first edition of “Stelle del Gusto”, the event organized by the Road of Wines and Flavors of Garda, was a great success last night in Desenzano, to welcome the “beautiful season” on the night of the Summer Solstice.

All sold out the elegantly set tables at the edge of the Bagoda little lake, from which the botanical park of the same name, magnificent set for the evening, takes its name: a real green oasis just outside Desenzano del Garda where restaurateurs, wineries, oil mills associated with the Road have joined forces for the realization of an exclusive dinner coordinated by the great experience of Carlo Bresciani, Garda chef, profound connoisseur of local traditions, patron of the Antica Cascina San Zago di Salò and vicar president of the Italian Federation chefs.

Two menus served under his direction to a public welcomed by a “peasant” aperitif with cheeses and meats produced by the artisan companies associated with the Strada.

A magnificent climate in typical summer style did the rest, along with the classic soul, jazz and swing classic performed by Vincenzo Pinelli’s Bourbon Street. Road President Francesco Averoldi was satisfied: “The first edition has been positive, we have achieved the set goals, now we are working to turn this night into a fixed event of the Garda summer”.
