Fish and Chef, a “star parade” from April 22 to 29

It will be a real “star parade” that will involve Lake Garda from April 22 to 29 for the 2015 edition of Fish & Chef: the event dedicated to lake fish will in fact this year involve seven major chefs, who will perform, along with 15 other top chefs del Garda, in a series of evenings that promise suggestions of high culinary level.

The event this year involves all three provinces bordering the Benaco, in the villages of Riva del Garda (TN), Gardone Riviera, Manerba (BS), and Malcesine, Garda, Bardolino and Costermano (in the Verona side). Seven places for seven dream dinners within which the chefs will interpret the taste of the largest italian lake according to their talent and their fancy. It all will start on Wednesday, April 22, with a star like Moreno Cedroni from Restaurant Madonnina del Pescatore in Senigallia, which will offer its own version of the deli del Garda at the Hotel Bellevue San Lorenzo Malcesine. On April 23, in Riva del Garda, more precisely at the Hotel Lido Palace, it will be the turn of Alessandro Gavagna of Friuli La Subida (Cormons). On april 24, from Ceresio 7 in Milan Elio Sironi will star in an evening hosted at the Grand Hotel Fasano in Gardone Riviera. It will be a four hands dinner the one provided on the night of Sunday 26 in ristorante Capriccio in Manerba, with the two brothers Portinari – Nicola in the kitchen, sommelier Pierluigi ─ from Restaurant La Peca Lonigo (VI).  Then on the 27th, in Garda, Hotel Regina Adelaide, an appointment with Marco Sacco of the Piccolo Lago, a restaurant directly overlooking Lake Mergozzo (Verbania). Dirk Holberg from Ophelia’s Restaurant on Lake Constance will instead be the protagonist of the appointment on April 28 at the Hotel Aqualux Bardolino. The final night will be hosted on april 29 at the Casa degli Spiriti in Costermano, with the Garda Dream Team, made up of 15 top chefs of the Garda scene.

There will also be a week of cooking show in the town of Garda, which will take place in the open air with cooking shows open to the public and tastings of the excellence products of the event.
