“Fish and Chef”, top preview in Manerba

Ristorante Capriccio in Manerba del Garda (one Michelin Star) has hosted the first night of “Fish and Chef Incontra”, three events of high gastronomic level in preparation to the 2015 edition of Fish and Chef, which will take place on Garda Lake from april 22 to 29. The first dinner has taken place on the night of march 20 and has been prepared by Giuliana Germiniasi, chef of Capriccio, with Paolo Cappuccio of Casa degli Spiriti di Costermano (another One Michelin Star restaurant): it has been an extraodinary celebration of the real taste of Garda. Here the four main courses.

It all started with “Essential Garronese Beef, Smoked trout with honey, horseradish mousse, organic salads and crispy baguette” by Paolo Cappuccio.

Then, Carnaroli Delta Po’ rice with Drizzar monocultivar oil by Ca ‘Rainene, smoked trout caviar, thyme and pepper aroma: this also designed by Cappuccio.

A celebration of the colours and savours of Italy: Char, Pappa al Pomodoro and Grappa by Giuliana Germiniasi.

Finally, your dream dessert, a classic in the menu of Capriccio: Red Fruits soup marinated in mosto cotto, milk ice cream e caramelized merigue.

The menu was matched with the wines of two Custoza wineries, Cavalchina and Menegotti.
