The Garda Dop Oil Consortium will be busy in Verona in the Vinitaly week with a training and information space on quality olive oil which will be hosted from April 10 to 13 at Sol & Agrifood, a salon near Vinitaly but  dedicated to italian food. All producer members of the Consortium will be present at the fair to offer a taste of their products, and the Garda Dop oil will also be the protagonist of a show cooking with the meats of Bruno Bassetto, famous butcher in Treviso. There will also be some particular meetings: Sunday, April 10 at 10 am in Room Mantegna with the tasting “Sensory journey at the discovery of Lake Garda Dop oil excellence”, while on Monday 11 at midday at the Verona Chamber of Commerce stand there will be a tasting in conjunction with the Verona Bakers bread. Finally on Tuesday 12 at 3 pm  always at the stand of the Chamber of Commerce of Verona Garda Dop will be tasted matched with Verona asparagus.
“These days the Tunisian oil issue has become a news item that is fueling many fears – says the president of the Consortium, Andrea Bertazzi -. We believe the problems affecting the oil market are not in the import, but rather in the final consumer. This is why the main goal of our consortium is to inform and training: it is necessary to learn about this product and especially to read labels to overcome all fears. “
