Giordano Bruno Guerri, president of the Fondazione Del Vittoriale degli Italiani of Gardone Riviera, is the winner of Palladio Gardesano 2017, the recognition established by the Groppello Brotherhood and intended for the personalities who have distinguished themselves in the work of enhancing and promoting the Garda territory. The recognition award ceremony is scheduled for September 22 at the Grand Hotel in Gardone Riviera, which after hosting the first two editions of the Prize (won in 2014 by the entrepreneur Attilio Camozzi and in 2015 by the winemaker and wine producer Mattia Vezzola) returns to become the natural and official venue of the event.

Palladio is made up this year by a sculpture (pictured) specially made by Fabio Bresciani, young artist of the Accademia Santa Giulia of Brescia: the work was selected by a jury of experts during the last edition of the Fair of Puegnago, which hosted a showcase of the 30 sculptures that participated in the competition launched at the beginning of the year by the Brotherhood in collaboration with the Academy.

“This novelty has allowed us to revive an initiative that wants to strengthen the role of our partnership as an active organism in the field of promoting the territory and its wine,” said the president of the Confraternita of Groppello Massimo Piergentili presenting Palladio 2017 in the town hall of Gardone Riviera – But also important is the choice of a prestigious winner such as Giordano Bruno Guerri: a Siena native fascinated by the beauty of Lake Garda who has been able to give new impetus to the establishment of Vittoriale, recalling a new wave of tourists on the territory and then working for its development “.
