Garda Dop Oil, a new award dedicated to students

The Olio Garda Dop Award was born, a new initiative created in collaboration with the Italian Chefs Federation and dedicated to students of the hotel institutes of the three regions facing Benaco, namely Trentino, Veneto and Lombardy: an idea whose main goal is to involve direct future catering professionals in the formation of a true culture of the territory, its great excellences and its flavors. The race is scheduled for March 7 in the cooking lab of Saps Agnelli, a prestigious manufacturer of pots: the institutes will have to prepare a dish choosing between appetizer, main and second course placing naturally at the center of their creation the extra virgin olive oil with denomination Garda Dop. The “works” will be judged by a jury composed by the president of the Italian Federation of Chefs, a representative of the Consorzio Garda Dop and various journalists specialized in food and wine.
