Pozzolengo will host the fifth stage of the Lake fish menu Festival, the food and wine event organized by The Wine and Food Garda Road with Garda Dop Consortium which includes 9 special dinners until December to enjoy the tradition of the lake cuisine. Next step is scheduled for October 26 at La Muraglia restaurant, a place born in 1980 wchich has always been known for its cuisine mainly based on local products. A line also confirmed by the new management that took over in 2015, and which has focused primarily on local flavors such as the typical Pozzolengo salami, on grilled meats cooked over the fireplace, and on lake fish dishes to be matched with Garda wines as Lugana and Chiaretto.
Here is the menu proposed for the dinner of October 26:
Marinated trout with polenta
Tagliatelle with whitefish, dill and sundried tomatoes
Grilled lake fish
Chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream
As always, the dinner will host a Garda winery: this time the wines are those from Malavasi winery in Pozzolengo.
