Let’s start the week with a very simple, but at the same time unusual recipe that Daniela Papa, chef of Cascina del Ritrovo in Lonato, has decided to share with Garda Expo readers.

La Cascina is located a few steps from the always charming and popular Lido di Lonato on Lake Garda, and serves local cuisine, linked to the traditions of the territory of Brescia. And let’s see what thehìy have to offer to us….

Chicken Marsala and Pears

Ingredients
1 chicken of about 1 kg and a half
white flour as needed
dry Marsala
salt
A kg of not too ripe pears
Rosemary

Preparation
Cut the chicken into pieces.
Flour fine pieces and place in a baking dish, add salt, add 4 glasses of marsala and cover with sliced pears. Add a few sprigs of rosemary.
Bake at 160 degrees for 45-60 minutes.

It does seem very difficult, doesn’t it? Why don’t you try it yourself?
