A triple food and wine event dedicated to red wines based on Groppello: it’s the particular proposal of Rosso di Sera, an event organized by the Confraternita (or Brotherhood) del Groppello, one of the oldest wine partnership on Lake Garda. The event is designed to enhance and promote the red wines of the Riviera del Garda Brescia-based on native Groppello in various percentages and various vintages: products which do not concur in the traditional Confraternita Palio devoted to chose precisely the best Groppello for each vintage. Hence the decision to create an initiative specifically for this wide range of wines which complement the framework for the production of the territory. The event will take place in three nights in as many Garda restaurants: first step on Monday, Feb. 1 at the restaurant Borgo alla Quercia in Calvagese della Riviera (the wineries will be Averoldi Bedizzole, Pietta of Muscoline anche Le Chiusure in San Felice); second meeting on February 15 at the Monastero in Soiano (with wines of Redaelli De Zinis Calvagese, Fattoria Ca Granda in Raffa and Roccolo Polpenazze). Final round on March 2 at the Antica Cascina San Zago in Salò, with Montecicogna and Civielle in Moniga. The cost of each meal is fixed at 35 € with reservations required: info at anflobrixia@gmail.com.
