It’s an intense weekend for the “Sounds and Flavors of the Garda” festival, organized by the association Brixia Symphony in collaboration with the Garda Wines and Flavors Road: an excursion of concerts combined with tasting of local products that, after the start on May 21, is going strong in these hot summer days with many events in some of the most suggestive locations. A double appointment in scheduled for this weekend: and the first, truly exclusive, is for tomorrow night on Saturday, July 22, in the incomparable scenery of the Garda Island. Here at 9.15 pm the concert “Giovani Ance in Trio” will be held, organized with the collaboration of the Borghese Cavazza family owner of the island. The concert offers the rare opportunity to listen to the original repertoire for two oboes and English horn well-represented by Ludwig Van Beethoven, which will be performed by Trio Magnolia, three young and promising musicians. On Sunday, 23, we move to another beautiful scenery, the Limonaia of the Pra de la Fam at Tignale Porto for “The Strange Couple”, an en plein air concert between Europe and South America with the duo composed by saxophonist Gianni Alberti and accordionist Ermes Pirlo. At the end, a tasting of local products offered by the municipality of Tignale. Always at 9.15, free admission.
