An important international recognition for the world of Garda hospitality: the agriturismo Unicorno in  Bedizzole, a splendid 1654 structure in the quiet of the countryside of Macesina, won the Condè Nast Johansens Award for Excellence in the category “Best green hotel ” by harnessing the competition of over 150 structures in a dozen different countries. A great satisfaction for Garda, which thanks to this prestigious award continues to be confirmed as one of the most exclusive and sought after destinations in the world of luxury tourism. Delivered in London during the World Travel Market, the world’s most important tourism fair, the Awards for Excellence are a sort of Oscar for the world’s most excellent structures: to attribute them is one of the leading newspaper headlines in the high tourism sector range. Unicorn has won by virtue of an absolutely unique charm that intersects with its history: this ancient manor house dating back to the 17th century is now owned by Corrado Becchetti and his wife Gabriella Binkert, who in 2007 started to a complex conservation restoration operation completed in 2013. The atmosphere is in the past, but the hotel standards are modern and exclusive. There is also an offer of agricultural products coming from the estate, to be tasted also in the hotel restaurant.
