Wine, first edition on Lake Garda for “Castello in Bianco”

A journey to the discovery of quality white wines, from Lake Garda and not, produced with more or less well-known varieties: this is the philosophy of “Castello in Bianco”, a new Garda event that on May 20 to 22 will debut in Desenzano del Garda in the frame of the eleventh century castle. The heart of the event is scheduled for Sunday 22 with a market attended by some 40 selected wine producers for a total of 120 labels for tasting, including even some foreign products (free admission, glass for tasting 10 €, with possibility to buy wines). In the area there will also be space for 10 artisans producers of typical products. All this will be preceded by an official dinner on Friday 20th at Institute hotel Caterina De Medici, while on Saturday 21 in the Castle there will be guided tastings conducted directly by producers or sommeliers (by reservation: the program will be published on the site www.castelloinbianco.it). Many local restaurants will offer during tre three days a menu specifically designed to be matched with quality white wines.
