An entire day dedicated to wines and typical products from Garda in the heart of Oltrepò Pavese: it’g going to happen on Sunday May 8 in Broni, in the province of Pavia, where the Enoteca Regionale della Lombardia will host a big food and wine event organized by the Strada dei Vini e dei Sapori del Garda with Fisar (the Italian Sommelier, Hoteliers and Resaurateurs Association). About twenty Garda wineries will attend the event, together with a series of producers of extra virgin olive oil Garda Dop, sausages, cheese, jams and other typical products. In other words, a real showcase of typical Lake Garda in a territorial context of big wine traditions.
Scheduled from 10 am to 7 pm, the event is set up as a great tasting dedicated to “made in Garda”, open to the public with a ticket for 7 Euros (reduced to five for Fisar Members) including tasting kit.
There will also be five themed tastings of about 40 minutes dedicated to Garda Dop Oil, to the wines of the Doc Valtènesi (reds anche Chiaretto), San Martino della Battaglia Doc, Lugana Doc and to meats and local cheeses paired with wines. Finally, the Enoteca bistro will offer a menu prepared with the products of Garda at a promotional price.
