“Garda con Gusto” second edition to start in Riva

A three days full immersion in the culinary richness of the Trentino shore of the biggest Italian lake: from Friday 4 to Sunday, November 6 “Garda con Gusto” is back with its second edition scheduled in Palameeting in Riva del Garda. The format will always be the one successfully tested last year, though enhanced by a program rich in tastings and cooking shows and with a food market conceived to represent the link between the territory and quality food. At the heart of the event there will be a real “taste village” where you will be able to discover local products: from Carne Salada to lake fish, extra virgin olive oil to fresh products such as the big sweet Chestnuts from Drena, Nago, Tenno, the Balsamic Vinegar from Trentino, truffles, saffron, mountain cheeses and Doc wines via beers and honey.

The three-day guiding theme will be that of the processing of raw materials, even in recipes that the six houses within the Palameeting will propose every day in collaboration with chefs and restaurants of the Garda Trentino area. There will be workshops, conferences, cooking contest and much more.

You will have chance to  buy a special tasting package at 30 € which includes six proposals with as many wine-beer matchings (single tasting 7 €). Each day will end with a show and Saturday 5  at midday there will be a very special show cooking with Simone Rugiati, young and talented italian chef also known to the television audience. For the entire weekend you will also be able to visit a number of local farms.
