Lonato Fair 2017 bets on the local flavours

Three days of flavors, local traditions, but also innovation that drives the growth of agriculture and craftsmanship: these are the main ingredients of the Regional Fair of Lonato del Garda, scheduled from January 13 to 15 to cross the finish line of the 59th edition. A now historic event then, that as usual involves the entire historic center of a town full of hidden gems to discover. With an area of ​​about 7000 square meters, the exhibition  will showcase companies, wisdoms, traditions and excellence of the local reality. The official opening is scheduled for Saturday 14, but in reality the initiatives already start on January 7 with the launch of the gourmet circuit TOT Porsel, which until February 12 will involve the main restaurants in Lonato in the proposal of fixed price menus based exclusively on pork meat. And always on saturday 7t the sports hall will host the preview of the Fair with the Gala Show, including music, theater and cabaret. And speaking of food, to draw attention will be the exposure of a record breaking “Os de Stomèch”: the traditional salami of Lonato rural origins will be presented in a giant version of 225 kilograms. And then free tastings, culinary competitions, conferences, book presentations, all with free admission.
