The “Desenzanino” pizza restaurant has radically changed its image: it is handled since 1997 in Desenzano del Garda by the social solidarity cooperative La Cascina which, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of foundation, has presented in recent days the complete restyling of the site situated on lakeside Cesare Battisti. The project, based on a design by architect Paola Boneschi, involved a total investment of 390,000 Euros, partly covered by some contributions and loans. The restaurant, which therefore also has a precise social function in the territory, has been redesigned with a look to environmentally friendly philosophy for maximum water and energy savings, enhancing the beautiful lake view room position by 140 places, creating niches for exhibition of wines, craft objects created by the youths of Anffas center and books. Also renewed is the menu, which will focus more sharply on local specialties beginning with lake fish and including some vegan dishes.
