The Lake Fish Festival keeps on going on Lake Garda: the event organized by the Strada dei Vini e dei Sapori del Garda with the Consortium Garda Dop started two months ago and is now offering fans the opportunity to discover many interesting Garda restaurants which are trying to revisit tra tradition of Garda cuisine with a touch of creativity. For the 11th dinner, scheduled for Friday, November 6, the Festival will move to the fascinating countryside of Pozzolengo and, to be exact, in the halls of the restaurant Fenil Conter, a place surrounded by the vineyards of Lugana which has been born in a carefully renovated farm of the 19th century. Here the owner Clelia Bertocchi has given space to a local cuisine, with meats coming from local factories, fish from Garda or the closer rivers, vegetables from the restaurant garden and homemade pasta. The main courses, as Caponsei butter and sage to Panzerotti ricotta and spinach, are the most popular, but Fenil Conter is not lacking interesting fish proposals, as evidenced by the menu prepared fort the event by chef Aldo Franzoni. Here it is.

Terrine of Garda trout and perch on carrots and celery julienne

Tagliolini with lake ragout and mullet bottarga

Char with Lugana and gazpacho of fresh tomatoes with basil

Citrus sorbet

As always, there will be a star of the evening winery, whose wines will be paired with dishes: in this case the choice fell on La Torre in Mocasina, Calvagese. The price of the menu is as always set at 30 euro: information and reservations at 030-9916052.
