The Lake Fish Festival continues Friday, October 23 with a double date: the event organized by Strada dei Vini e dei Sapori del Garda in collaboration with Consorzio Garda Dop continues with two dinners at the same time. One of the appointment is scheduled at Osteria La Miniera in Tignale, a rather particular restaurant with a rustic touch which cuisine is essentially faithful to the territory and especially the Garda traditions. Among the proposals to be tested, a Spiedo made with organic Tignale olive oil, but also dishes with black truffles. Fish is proposed according to the catch of the day. Pasta, bread and desserts are homemade. In summer you can eat in a large garden, while in the cold season Osteria welcomes you in typical dining rooms with fireplace and wood burning fire.

Here is the menu that Sergio and Silvia at the Osteria have structured for the evening.

Minced whitefish marinated in citrus oil on a potatoes and capers pie

Minnows soused on crust of brown bread

Crispy sardines with olives and mint on sauteed peppers

Fresh fish soup with bread gnocchi

Homemade chub and potatoes Ravioli with fresh tomatoes and sage

Pike in the Lake Garda cunsa with polenta

Sparkling pudding with Garda lemons and oil in sauce of toned strawberry

As usual every evening is combined with a wine cellar, and at the Osteria you will taste the wines of Cantine Franzosi in Puegnago del Garda, an important Valtènesi winery about which we have already told the story on Garda Expo (read it at this link: www.gardaexpo.com/en/franzosi-between-tradition-and-modernity/)

The cost of the menu is fixed at 30 Euros all included: information and reservations at 0365-760225. On Friday 23, the Festival Menu of Fish Lake will make a stop also at the Osteria La Frasca Minibar Desenzano. Come back on Garda Expo to read the menu.
