A real “Pact of Intent for the promotion of native Italian rosé wine”: the Consortiums for the protection of the Bardolino Chiaretto, Valtènesi, Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo, Castel del Monte and Salice Salentino have signed it on Garda.T erritories united by a great vocation for rosè, which today represent the most important areas of rosés with geographical mention obtained from native grapes.
The agreement was signed by Franco Cristoforetti, president of the Bardolino Consortium (which will take over the role of project leader), Alessandro Luzzago, president of the Valtènesi Consortium, Eugenio Manieri director of the Salentino Salentino Consortium and Valentino Di Campli chairman of Abruzzo, meeting in front of the mayor of Bardolino, Ivan De Beni. The signature of Francesco Liantonio, president of the Castel del Monte consortium, has been added in the frame of Vinitaly, where the five references were the protagonists of a series of joint initiatives and tastings. With the pact the consortium bodies are committed to a unified promotion of their productions, both in Italy and abroad, with the aim of arriving soon to the establishment of an Italian Autochthonous Rosé Center.
