Time has come again for one of the most anticipated autumn Garda gastronomic events: the weekend of 24 and 25 September will see the return of “Ciottolando Con Gusto”, the traditional event hosted as always in the charming village of Malcesine, on the eastern shore of the lake. News for the 2016 edition, which will be divided into two different proposals designed to allow visitors to choose the path best suited to their needs and expectations.
Those who prefer an easy formula will opt for “Ciottolando Giardini”, which provides access to three different locations in the Old Town: Village Wine, Giardino Del Gusto and La Forchetta del Castello, all open from 12 to 9 pm: in the first you can taste the wines of the Garda coast with live music, in the second you will taste local specialties (also for sale), while the third is the new path where some chefs of Malcesine restaurants will offer their creations based on raw materials supplied by local companies . Alternatively, there is also the most challenging “Ciottolando Gourmet”, which in addition to access to all three gardens also offers a tour in the local restaurants where the visitor can taste the dishes created for the occasion by using ‘ special map that will lead them on a journey from appetizers to desserts while allowing the freedom for each to build their own menu.
